What is included in my rent?

What kind of tenants stay at Oaklands Lodge?

Your rent includes exclusive use of your room, and use of the common areas such as the living, dining, garden and kitchen areas.  All rooms are lockable.  Bathrooms are shared with other guests as is the kitchen, dining room, TV lounge and other living spaces.  Your rent includes power, water and internet, there are no hidden extras. Meals are not provided.  There are lockers in the kitchen for your use but you will need to provide your own padlock.

Your moving in costs include one week bond plus two weeks rent in advance.  No letting fee applies.

We have a variety of guests ranging from mid-twenties to around 50.  Most are either working or adult students studying in the city.

What time is the reception open?

Reception is open from 7.00-8.00pm each night or give us a call to make other arrangements

Is there bike parking available?

Yes there is bike parking available, however, we do recommend you use a lock.

How can I pay?

Payment is taken weekly in advance, by direct bank deposit or cash.

Do you have car parking?

There is free on-street parking in the local area, it can get quite busy outside the boarding house but there is usually always parking within 500 metres.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a 2 week cancellation policy.
